Upon arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel for check-in.

Lunch is not included.

In the afternoon, embark on a cultural journey starting with a visit to the National Museum, housed in an elegant traditional building showcasing exquisite examples of Khmer artistry. Continue to the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda, where you’ll learn about a flourishing era of Cambodia’s rich history. Conclude your day at Wat Phnom, a serene temple perched on the hill that gives the city its name. According to legend, a 14th-century woman named Penh discovered sacred Buddhist relics in the nearby river and enshrined them here.

Dinner is not included. Overnight stay at the hotel in Phnom Penh.

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel.

Transfer to Phnom Penh Airport for your flight to Siem Reap (airfare quoted separately).

Upon arrival at Siem Reap Airport, you will be greeted and transferred directly to visit the Roluos Group of temples: Lo Lei, Preah Ko, and Bakong. Lunch is not included.

Continue exploring unique brick sculptures at Prasat Kravan, and visit Srah Srang (“The Royal Baths” once used for ritual bathing), Banteay Kdei, surrounded by four concentric walls, and the enchanting Ta Prohm temple, famous for its untouched, mysterious atmosphere. Visit Neak Pean, a temple built on a pool symbolizing the Himalayan mountain-lake paradise, followed by Preah Khan temple, constructed by King Jayavarman VII. Like Ta Prohm, Preah Khan features towered enclosures and intricate corridors but is in better condition due to ongoing restoration efforts.

Dinner is not included. Overnight at the hotel in Siem Reap.

After breakfast, explore the ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th century). Visit the South Gate with its impressive statues depicting the Churning of the Ocean of Milk, then the Bayon Temple, renowned for its 54 towers adorned with over 200 smiling faces of Avalokitesvara. Continue to Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephant Terrace, and the Terrace of the Leper King. Lunch is not included.

Next, visit the iconic Angkor Wat temple complex, covering 81 hectares — comparable in size to Beijing’s Imperial Palace. The temple’s five distinctive towers are featured on the Cambodian flag. This 12th-century masterpiece is hailed by art historians as the pinnacle of classical Khmer art and architecture. End the day with a stunning sunset view from the summit of Pre Rup Temple.

Dinner is not included. Overnight at the hotel in Siem Reap.

This morning, take a scenic boat ride on Tonle Sap Lake to Kampong Phluk Village, the largest permanent freshwater lake in Southeast Asia. The lake connects with the Tonle Sap River, which flows into the Mekong at Phnom Penh. Experience the unique floating village lifestyle, with floating schools, a floating police station, and more. This village moves with the water levels and currents, creating a fascinating glimpse into life on the lake.
