Itinerary

Once arriving in Phnom Penh, you will be greeted by our tour guide and driver, then transferred to the hotel to check in and relax. Please kindly note that the check-in time at the hotel is 14:00, and early check-in could be guaranteed with a surcharge.

In the evening, you will take Tuk Tuk to have dinner at a famous local popular restaurant. You might find various local popular grill food such as beef, pork, chicken, seafood, etc. Your dinner will also have a glass or a bottle of local beer or beverage.

After dinner, let’s explore the city's highlights to admire the most outstanding sites like the Independence Monument, Diamond Island, and Royal Palace. We can pass along the riverside for sightseeing at many local restaurants, bars, and shopping places, then end up at Wat Phnom. Return to hotel and stay overnight in Phnom Penh.

The Independence Monument At Night

Morning

Let's skip the regular breakfast at the hotel to experience a real-local popular “Bai sach chrouk” (marinated pork with steamed rice) in a local restaurant. The dish was featured in a CNN travel article as one of the “10 meals every visitor to Cambodia should try”.

Then, we will witness a busy life at the local Central Market, where you see all the fresh meats, fish, seafood, vegetables, etc. Heading to the souvenir section, where tonnes of souvenirs are displayed for sale. You may also explore the surrounding of the market where different business sections are conducted.

You will enjoy another authentic street food near Soriya Mall, where most of the locals come to have lunch during lunch break. Back to the hotel for a short break.

Afternoon

We visit the Royal Palace, built by King Norodom in 1866, and the Silver Pagoda, located within the grounds of the Royal Palace, then continue to the National Museum, one of Phnom Penh's true architectural gems.

The last stop is at Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum. It was a high school used as a prison by Pol Pot's security forces and became the largest center for detention and torture during the rule of the Khmer Rouge.

For dinner, we head out to Orussey Market for street food. You can meet local people and taste truly authentic food. There are many varieties to try, such as fried noodles with beef and noodle soup. The perfect spot to possibly try “baby duck egg” or marinated beef stick.

After dinner, you will return to the hotel and rest for the next day.

Savor The Street Food With Your Partner

Morning

After having breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to the bus station to get to Siem Reap on a 6-hour bus. During the trip, there are two stops for break and lunch (at your own budget and desire).

On arrival at Siem Reap, our team will transfer you to the hotel for check-in and relaxation.

Afternoon

From 17:00 to 19:00, our guide, with a Tuk Tuk driver, will pick you up and show you around the city.

You can stop at the night market to find many gifts for your family and friends, then spend time at the street food vendors. One of the most popular food is "The baby duck eggs," or so-called by locals as "Pong Tea Kon". They boil these eggs and serve them with paper salt, lemon juice, and mint.

Your meal might end with the most popular fresh fruit smoothie or local way called "Toeuk Kralork". You can choose different flavors or fruit types you want, such as avocado, durian, mango, passion fruit, etc.

After the meal, we will let you release stress with 1-hour foot or shoulder massage and transfer you back to the hotel for overnight.

Get To Siem Reap By Bus

Morning

At around 8:00, let's leave the hotel to start your visit to the World Heritage Sites: the South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.

Continue to visit Ta Prohm, one of the area’s most beautiful temples. It has been left relatively untouched since its discovery and retains much of its mystery.

Have lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon

The architectural masterpiece of Angkor Wat will be the first destination in the afternoon. We stroll around this massive monument and explore the galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards, and ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple.

Later, you will have the chance to climb up Bakheng Hill for the spectacular sunset view of Siem Reap City.

Evening

On the dinner, you will visit another authentic local taste at a secret hiding spot in Siem Reap by motorbike or Tuk Tuk.

After that, we will drop you at Pub Street, where you might meet many tourists hanging out and relaxing after a long day tour. There will be many restaurants, bars, clubs, massage places, and shopping.

Return to your hotel at your own arrangement, or you may request your Tuk Tuk/motorbike driver standby and pay them extra from your own pocket.

Enjoy Your Night At Pub Street

Morning

After breakfast at the hotel, you can join the Cookery Class from 9:30 to 12:00 to learn how to prepare traditional and tasty Khmer dishes under the guidance of the chef.

We start the day by going to the market with the chef, who will explain Cambodian vegetables, herbs, spices, and other ingredients. The teacher will give you many information about the art of Khmer cuisine. During the course, you might learn how to cut vegetables and make decorative presentations of the dishes. Each person would have their own cooking station and prepare the food for lunch.

NOTE: What you will receive during the class includes a box of spices, a recipe book, a DVD, and a certificate.

Afternoon

After lunch, you will enjoy a boat ride on Tonle Sap Lake, the largest permanent freshwater lake in Southeast Asia, which flows into Tonle Sap River, joining the Mekong in Phnom Penh. You might see a fishermen’s “floating village” with floating schools, floating police stations, etc.

For dinner, you will have a buffet with Apsara Dance Show at a local restaurant. After dinner, we return to the hotel overnight.
